This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: that ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

We are committed to cultivating authentic discipleship that reaches beyond outward behaviors and confronts the foundational issues of the heart, mind, and spirit that hinder spiritual growth and Kingdom effectiveness.​

Through biblical teaching, intentional discipleship, healing, deliverance, restoration, and apostolic equipping, ROOT seeks to guide individuals into a deeper relationship with God while establishing them in truth, character, identity, and spiritual maturity.

 

We believe lasting transformation is not produced by managing symptoms but by allowing God to restore the foundations from which every thought, decision, action, and life pattern flows.

Our mission is to help people discover who God created them to be, heal from the wounds that have distorted that identity, break free from cycles that have limited their growth, and become fully established in their Kingdom purpose.

 

We exist to see lives transformed from the inside out, families restored, communities impacted, and disciples equipped to carry the culture, character, and authority of Christ into every sphere of influence.

The vision of ROOT is to see individuals, families, and communities restored to God's original design through the transforming power of Jesus Christ. We envision a generation of believers who are no longer defined by their wounds, failures, bondages, past experiences, or distorted identities, but who are firmly established in the truth of God's Word and walking in the fullness of His purpose for their lives.

We believe that many people are living beneath their Kingdom potential because foundational issues have never been addressed. Generational brokenness, unresolved wounds, spiritual immaturity, false identities, and unhealthy patterns have prevented countless individuals from becoming who God created them to be. ROOT exists to help identify and address these foundational issues so that lasting transformation can occur from the inside out.

Our vision is to create a culture of restoration where people are equipped to confront root causes rather than merely manage symptoms. We envision an outreach that provides biblical discipleship, spiritual formation, healing, deliverance, accountability, and practical support for individuals seeking genuine transformation. Through this process, we desire to see believers develop deep spiritual roots that produce healthy fruit, strong character, sound doctrine, and unwavering commitment to Christ.

We envision restored individuals becoming restorers themselves. As lives are transformed, families are strengthened, relationships are repaired, leaders are developed, and communities are impacted. Those who once struggled with brokenness become examples of healing. Those who once lived in bondage become instruments of freedom. Those who once lacked direction become equipped to guide others toward restoration and Kingdom purpose.

ROOT ultimately seeks to raise mature disciples who reflect the character of Christ, carry the heart of the Father, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and faithfully steward the assignments entrusted to them.

 

Our vision extends beyond personal restoration and reaches toward Kingdom multiplication, where restored believers become effective ambassadors of Christ in their homes, workplaces, churches, and communities.

We envision a movement of restoration that reaches across generations, breaks destructive cycles, rebuilds neglected foundations, and calls people back to God's original intent for their lives. Through ROOT, we desire to see lives renewed, families restored, communities strengthened, and disciples raised who will impact the world for the glory of God.

For we believe that when the root is restored, the fruit will follow; when foundations are rebuilt, generations can flourish; and when people return to God's original template, they can walk fully in the purpose for which they were created.

ROOT was not born from strategy, ambition, or the desire to create another ministry program.

 

ROOT was born from a burden forged through decades of personal experience, observation, prayer, and restoration. For much of his life, Apostle Jason T. Bardwell witnessed the effects of broken foundations both within his own story and within the lives of countless others. Over time, the Lord began revealing a pattern that appeared repeatedly across families, churches, and communities: people were desperately trying to change what was visible while ignoring what was producing it. They were confronting behaviors without addressing beliefs. They were fighting symptoms without examining roots. They were pursuing breakthrough while avoiding restoration.

 

What God began showing Apostle Bardwell was that many of the struggles people face are not simply behavioral issues but foundational issues. The burden that eventually became ROOT emerged from the conviction that lasting transformation can only occur when the root system is healed and restored.

This conviction was not developed through observation alone. It was cultivated through personal experience. Growing up in a broken home, Apostle Bardwell experienced the effects of a passive and largely absent father during many of the most formative years of his life. Like many children raised in fractured family environments, he learned how to survive before he learned how to heal. As a latchkey kid living with his mother, independence became necessary, but that independence often masked deeper wounds that remained unresolved for years.

 

Questions regarding identity, belonging, affirmation, security, and purpose quietly developed beneath the surface. By the age of fifteen, many of those internal struggles had already begun manifesting externally, including through an addiction to cigarettes that would become a long-term battle, one that he fights to this day. While God would later bring tremendous healing, growth, freedom, and transformation into many areas of his life, this ongoing struggle became a constant reminder that visible battles often have invisible roots. It reinforced the reality that many people are not simply struggling with habits; they are struggling with wounds, disappointments, fears, and unmet needs that require the healing touch of God.

​

As he matured, the Lord also allowed him to witness the impact of generational brokenness within his own family. He observed the lingering effects of unhealed wounds carried by his mother, grandmother, and aunt, and saw firsthand how pain that remains unaddressed rarely remains isolated. Instead, it often influences relationships, shapes perspectives, affects decision-making, and quietly transfers itself from one generation to the next.

 

These experiences revealed a sobering truth: many families are not simply battling isolated struggles but are carrying the accumulated weight of unresolved pain that has existed for decades. God began showing Apostle Bardwell that true restoration requires more than confronting individual actions. It requires identifying the deeper wounds, false beliefs, disappointments, and generational patterns that continue producing unhealthy fruit. This understanding became one of the foundational pillars of ROOT and strengthened the conviction that if the root is never addressed, the fruit will eventually return.

​

The burden intensified through more than thirty years of involvement within the Church. Throughout those years, Apostle Bardwell encountered many congregations, ministries, teachings, and expressions of Christianity. While he remains thankful for every environment that contributed to his development, he also observed a recurring deficiency that extended far beyond any one church, denomination, or ministry.

 

Too often there was significant emphasis placed upon attendance, activity, positions, programs, and outward participation while comparatively little emphasis was placed upon healing, discipleship, spiritual formation, accountability, and restoration. He witnessed believers who genuinely loved God yet remained trapped in cycles of insecurity, addiction, fear, immaturity, unresolved trauma, and spiritual stagnation. He saw individuals repeatedly respond to altar calls, attend conferences, and pursue encounters with God while never experiencing the deeper transformation necessary to produce lasting fruit. Through prayer and reflection, the Lord began making it clear that many people did not simply need another emotional experience. They needed a process of restoration. They needed environments where identities could be rebuilt, wounds could be healed, foundations could be strengthened, and disciples could be intentionally developed.

ROOT exists because that burden eventually became a mandate. What God healed within Apostle Bardwell, and what He continues to refine within Apostle Bardwell, and what He revealed through decades of ministry experience collectively became the foundation for this outreach.

 

ROOT is not built upon the testimony of someone who claims perfection or presents himself as having conquered every struggle. Rather, it is built upon the testimony of someone who understands firsthand the realities of father wounds, generational brokenness, spiritual frustration, personal weakness, ongoing sanctification, and the relentless grace of God. The burden behind ROOT is simple but profound: people deserve more than temporary relief from their struggles.

 

They deserve restoration. They deserve environments where truth and grace work together to produce lasting transformation. They deserve opportunities to confront what is broken, heal what is wounded, rebuild what has been damaged, and rediscover God's original design for their lives.
