Weight Of The Well Ministries Mission
We are committed to seeing souls come out of death and into eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel without compromise, call people to repentance, and lead souls into true alignment with the Word of God. We believe Jesus Christ is still able to deliver, restore, heal, and transform every life surrendered to Him.
We labor for those who are broken, bound, rejected, addicted, confused, and living outside of the will of God. We work with individuals struggling with addiction, immorality, rebellion, bondage, perversion, and every form of disobedience to Scripture not to condemn them, but to point them to the power of repentance and the freedom found in Christ. We believe no soul is too far gone for the mercy and transforming power of God.
Our assignment is not to affirm flesh, compromise truth, or water down the Gospel for comfort. We are called to disciple souls into holiness, obedience, accountability, and spiritual maturity according to the Scriptures. We believe alignment with God’s Word is necessary for true transformation, and we are dedicated to walking with people as they die to the old life and become new creations in Christ.
We stand on the truth that whom the Son sets free is free indeed, and we remain committed to seeing lives fully surrendered, healed, aligned, and established in Jesus Christ for the glory of God.

Weight Of The Well Ministries Commitment To Biblical Order

At Weight Of The Well Ministries, we believe that no servant of God is called to minister independently. While Jesus Christ alone is the Head of His Church (Ephesians 5:23), He has established biblical government within the Church for the equipping, maturing, and strengthening of His people (Ephesians 4:11-16).

For this reason, we believe every minister should willingly live under biblical authority and spiritual accountability. Submission is not a sign of weakness. It is a mark of humility, maturity, and obedience to God's order. Those whom God entrusts with authority must first demonstrate that they know how to live under authority.

Biblical submission is far more than receiving encouragement or affirmation. It includes receiving instruction, counsel, rebuke, and correction whenever necessary. Scripture teaches that correction is one of God's primary instruments for producing maturity in His people.
Proverbs 12:1 declares, "Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish." Likewise, Hebrews 12 reminds us that the Lord disciplines those He loves. A servant who refuses correction is a servant who has become accountable only to himself.

Throughout Scripture, God consistently raised leaders through relationships of submission. Joshua served under Moses before leading Israel. Elisha faithfully submitted himself to Elijah before carrying his mantle. Timothy received continual instruction and correction from the Apostle Paul. Even Paul himself ministered within the accountability and recognition of the early Church rather than establishing himself independently. God's pattern has always been that those who would exercise authority must first learn faithful submission.

Because of this biblical conviction, Weight Of The Well Ministries is submitted and held to account under the apostolic oversight of Apostle Stanley Gorrell through The Merge International Network.

Our submission to Apostle Gorrell reflects our desire to honor the government Christ established within His Church. We are grateful for his apostolic leadership, biblical counsel, and willingness to provide oversight with both conviction and love.
His investment into our lives and ministry strengthens our resolve to faithfully fulfill the assignment God has entrusted to us.

Our highest allegiance will always be to Jesus Christ, the Chief Shepherd and Head of the Church. Every decision, every doctrine, and every direction we take must be measured by the authority of Scripture, yet because we believe Christ governs His Church through biblical order, we gladly embrace accountability and remain submitted to the leadership He has graciously placed over us.

As Weight Of The Well Ministries continues to serve the Kingdom of God, we remain committed to walking in humility, remaining teachable, receiving correction with gratitude, and living under authority before exercising authority. We believe that ministries are preserved, strengthened, and made fruitful when they reject independence and faithfully submit to the biblical relationships God has ordained.

Our Apostolic Founder Apostle Jason T. Bardwell

Apostle Jason T. Bardwell is a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ whose life stands as a testimony of the mercy, chastening, preservation, and restoring power of God. In the summer of 1994, while attending Iowa Regular Baptist Camp, he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and received Him as Lord and Savior. Even in his youth, there was a drawing of the Holy Spirit upon his life and a sensitivity toward the things of God. Though truth had been planted early, the years that followed revealed the reality that calling without discipleship, instruction, and spiritual alignment leaves a man vulnerable to wandering. Yet through every season, the Lord remained faithful to preserve what He Himself had ordained according to His divine purpose.
After graduating high school in 1999, Apostle Bardwell entered a prolonged season marked by spiritual darkness, rebellion, confusion, and separation from the will of God. Like many who lacked consistent godly authority, righteous correction, and biblical discipleship during formative years, he became entangled in destructive cycles that produced spiritual bondage and instability. Yet even in wandering, the hand of God did not depart from him. The Lord preserved him through valleys, failures, and brokenness, not because of human goodness, but because divine mercy refused to abandon the purpose God had established before the foundations of the earth. Through seasons of pruning, chastening, crushing, and correction, the Lord continued to strip away confidence in the flesh while forming within him a deeper dependence upon the Spirit of God and the authority of Scripture.
In the winter of 2024, while privately seeking the Lord through personal study of Scripture, prayer, and consecration before God, Apostle Bardwell encountered the delivering power of Jesus Christ in a life-altering way. What religion could not accomplish, the Spirit of God performed through conviction, repentance, and truth. Chains that had existed for years were broken through the authority of Jesus Christ, and the Word of God became alive within him with piercing clarity and holy conviction. In that season, the Lord began not merely to correct outward behavior, but to confront the inward man, bringing alignment, cleansing, surrender, and transformation through the operation of the Holy Ghost.
Following this encounter, Apostle Bardwell publicly submitted to water immersion in the spring of 2024 as an outward witness of inward repentance, death to the old life, and covenant with Christ. Later that same year, in the fall of 2024, the Lord called him into apostolic ministry. This calling was not rooted in ambition, recognition, platform, or religious aspiration, but in burden, obedience, travail, and submission to the voice of God. The foundation of his ministry is centered upon holiness, repentance, deliverance, spiritual authority, alignment to the Word of God, and the restoration of biblical order within the Body of Christ. He carries a deep conviction that the Church must return to sound doctrine, righteous living, and uncompromised obedience to the full counsel of Scripture without mixture, dilution, or accommodation to culture.

A burden rests heavily upon Apostle Bardwell to reach those trapped in spiritual bondage, deception, compromise, and cycles of destruction, particularly those who lacked righteous guidance, discipleship, correction, and godly leadership during formative seasons of life. Having personally witnessed the devastation produced by spiritual absence and misalignment, he ministers with urgency toward those whom religion has often ignored while remaining uncompromising concerning truth. His desire is not to build personality, influence, or platform, but to see souls brought into genuine repentance, freedom, spiritual maturity, and submission to Jesus Christ through the authority of the Word of God. His ministry emphasizes not only deliverance from bondage, but the rebuilding of believers through discipleship, spiritual stability, discernment, accountability, and alignment to biblical order.
In May of 2026, Apostle Bardwell survived a severe rollover vehicle accident that became another testimony of the preserving hand of God upon his life. What could have resulted in death instead became a moment of holy confirmation concerning the assignment the Lord had entrusted to him. In the aftermath of the accident, there was a deepened understanding that his life no longer belonged to himself, but to the purpose of God alone. The experience strengthened within him a greater fear of the Lord, a heightened urgency concerning eternity, and a renewed commitment to walk in obedience, consecration, humility, and faithful stewardship of the calling entrusted to him by God.
Apostle Bardwell also carries a deep burden for intercessory prayer and spiritual labor before the Lord. He believes prayer is not religious routine, emotional expression, or outward performance, but travail in the Spirit that produces breakthrough, alignment, deliverance, conviction, and transformation according to the will of God. His heart burns to stand in the gap for the bound, the weary, the deceived, and the remnant whom God is awakening in this hour. Through the ministry vision of restoring believers back to the original template established by Scripture, he remains committed to seeing lives, families, and ministries rebuilt according to apostolic truth and divine order rather than human tradition, emotionalism, or compromise.
Apostle Bardwell stands wholly submitted to the unchanging authority of the Word of God and carries a burden for purity within the Body of Christ in an hour marked by compromise, mixture, deception, and rebellion against biblical truth. His commitment to righteousness is not shaped by culture, public opinion, emotion, or human reasoning, but by the eternal standard established by God Himself. He believes the fear of the Lord must once again return to the Church and that holiness cannot be negotiated to accommodate flesh. His voice carries correction not as condemnation, but as a call to repentance, alignment, restoration, and faithful obedience according to Scripture. Above all, his desire is that Jesus Christ alone would be exalted, truth upheld without compromise, and the Church restored to holiness, spiritual maturity, and unwavering submission before the Lord.
